This classic VW Cabriolet has been restored by VIntage Auto to its original beauty.

Paint color is original Shetland Grey, with tomato red interior and oatmeal german square-weave carpet.

It has 48,400 original miles, and is the best of both worlds; a top quality classic! It has been updated with a factory new 1600cc dual port hydraulic lifter engine with new everything, pro-built transaxle, dual circuit brakes, and 12 volt electrics with trick hidden electric heat booster fans, era accessory fog lights, but has the 1950's quality which is so sought after!

Convertible top is grey Haartz canvas with original glass rear window and all trim. No radio, this car never had one.

Rare early convertible "W" decklid with vertical louvers is included. We will deduct $1000 from purchase price if you prefer the original lid (also shown in photos below).

This vehicle was a solid southern car before restoration, and even has the original floors! Battery tray, right front fender, and convertible rails were only steel pieces replaced during full frame-off restoration.

Rare points of interest are the original restored convertible "flip" mirror, ALL original glass including windshield, original 36hp engine included, ran good when removed and carefully stored.

1950's era accessory aluminum pull handles on doors. Original cut-out key which opens all doors. Glove box pull-handle.

The car has been sold for $39,900
