La Coccinelle est née du génie de Ferdinand PORSCHE, la 356 a été crée par son fils tout en respectant la philosophie maison. Mais si Porsche et VW sont 2 marques distinctes ayant eu un destin différent, elles ont toujours été liées, d'un point de vue technique, ou d'un point de vue humain, jusqu’à ce jour.
Dans ce contexte, il nous paraissait nécessaire de les réunir le temps d’un meeting et de créer le VW – Porsche Classic Day !

Quand on a la chance de posséder un vaste musée pour y stocker ses plus belles VW, on peut alors se permettre d’assouvir ses rêves les plus fous ! C’est le cas de José Esteve qui vient une nouvelle fois de nous surprendre en se portant acquéreur de ce cabriolet de 1954 d'un industriel d'emballage néerlandais, et ce malgré un choix tout autre au départ !
Pour info, José a déjà enregistré sa participation pour Hessisch Odendorf 2013 avec un Hebmüller de 1950.
La collection suisse STV s’est récemment enrichie de plusieurs VW. La dernière arrivée est cette superbe Coccinelle cabriolet Ovale de 1954. Malgré une couleur correspondant au millésime suivant, elle est superbe et mérite une visite quasi obligatoire, ne serait-ce que pour sa rareté !
