California is not only a destination for vacations and honeymoons, but also weddings. So when a couple comes from Rhode Island to get married, of course their 1969 Volkswagon Bug comes with them.
They received a picture of the exact car to make, including their license plate. The car was sculpted out of coconut cake with coconut buttercream into the classic VW Bug shape.

Der Wagen ist seit 1991 abgemeldet. 1991 wurde der Vorderwagen mit neuen Teilen bereits geschweisst (für damals DM 3000,--). Er wurde für die Lackierung schon vorgespachtelt.
Inzwischen ist aber an der Bodenplatte wieder Rost. Der Kabelbaum muss noch neu rein und das Dach braucht eine neue Haut. Sonst ist er vollständig inkl. 8 Kotflügel.

It is a full custom 1964 Beetle that is loaded with special changes.
It is obviously a convertible. It started life as a hardtop though but the work done to transform it is very nice quality. There is no top or side windows.

This radical custom build, designed and built by Martin Smith, features a chopped, functioning convertible top, smoothed body, and a classic hot rod style dropped tube axle front suspension. All of the hard fabrication and bodywork is done and it’s ready to be painted (or left in primer if that’s your taste. Add in the wiring and upholstery and you’ve got one very cool and unique ride ready to hit the highway or local cruise-in.
The car has been bought from Martin a few years ago and had it shipped to Florida but unfortunately the owner has not had the time to finish the project and get it on the road (too many projects, 4-wheeled and other) so he's decided to sell it and make some room.
The car will be sold with plenty of extra parts to finish the car (with a bunch left over as well)
Note: Will not sell any parts separately- this is a package deal.

Sehr seltenes 1952 Vw Cabriolet. Das ist das Baujahr mit den Reumaklappen. Dürfte alles komplett dabei sein bein dem Käfer.
